The Glass Makes The Wine

What do you serve wine in? Wine is a drink that can be enjoyed by all that have good taste. White wine has more of a fruity taste and goes well with pasta dishes. Red wine is a great drink for meat inspired dishes. Whichever wine that you choose, it should be one that you like and it should be served in a great glass.

Red wine glasses are larger than those used to serve white wine. They have a deep bowl shape and are great for smelling the wine before tasting it. Smelling wine is an essential part of drinking it and does enhance the overall flavor.

White wine glasses are tall, sleek and slender. They give white wine a bold look with a sophisticated glass. Both types of wine can be served in stemless wine glasses. These glasses are good for people who do not like to hold the stem of a wine glass and prefer it to rest on the palm of their hand.

When serving grape wines you should see it as a service to your guest to use the right varieties of glass at a dinner. Serving a bottle Zinfandel, Chardonnay, sparkling wine or Riesling should be done in the right type of wine glass. This enhances the experience and you as a host will get more respect from your guests.

Make wineserving an art, get rid of the foil and cutter and make sure you derive your wine in preferable glasses next time. You will be able to tell the difference.
