Where Can I Stomp Grapes in Napa?

During September and October annually, you can find a "grape stomp" not only in Napa Valley but also in the wine country surrounding it. These may include competitions, festivals, and fairs to increase the fun!

Although there are regulations against the actual foot stomping of wine for drinking purposes, many people enjoy getting into the special tub and squishing the grapes between their toes! Although the feeling is weird, once started, most people go on and on and don't want to stop!

There is even a "grape camp" held by the Sonoma County Winegrape Commission where you can pay $1,500 per person to take part in a harvest, seminars, and watch the whole wine-making process.

People can also pay from $4,500 to $15,000 a barrel at some wineries to have their own wine made -- choosing the vintage, the type of barrel, and following the processing of the wine step by step online.

Tasting wine on a tour in St Helena and attending a winecrush at the vineyards is simply an amazing experience for anyone that loves grapes and stomping. If you haven't tried yourself yet, you definitely should.
