In Cana, Jesus Turned Water Into Wine

We as Christians are intrigued and simply put are in ’Love’ with Jesus. We seek Him and hunger for knowledge more so than we do for food. In desperation, we want to know more and more about the Savior.

One of the miracles Jesus performed while He was on Earth was to turn water into wine. He did this in the town of Cana at a marriage feast. Jesus is strong on marriage. To our Savior, marriage is sacred and sanctified by Him.

He often spoke of the need for man and woman to marry. He encouraged marriage and stated that there was a need for strong and responsible marriages.

While He was at the marriage feast, Jesus performed this miracle to prove that He was our source of life. In changing water into wine, Jesus was symbolizing the sanctity of marriage. Marriage is the relationship between man and woman and with the uniting of the two, there can be new life brought forth on earth.
